we visited the palace covered in MILK🐮

the 7 wonders of tibet… potala palace!!!🥹

this is a #mustvisit when in tibet, and we definitely did, & climbed all the way 🆙

here’s my thoughts about this whole experience, and how 🫵🏼 can better plan if you’re intending to visit soon!

⌎ make sure you’re healthy and strong enough!

this is rlly important as it’s a world heritage site, no ways to get down other than by your LEGS! rlly have to weigh out your own abilities before making your way up, as it’s slightly steep + more importantly the altitude increase, which makes it harder!

⌎ bring oxygen tanks!

ok imo the steps were rlly manageable. yes it’ll get tiring, but not as bad as it was spreading on socials that i’ve read so many times! having oxygen tanks is just super helpful, helps to get you back to a better shape if you’re slightly drained.

⌎ photo-spots!

alrighty this is definitely a place you HAVE to take photos for memories sake, and you know it, it’ll be PACKED PACKED! so don’t stress out, there’s rlly A LOT of places to picture the palace! last picture is definitely #WorthIt to visit, id share more about that soon!

⌎ the culture & architecture!

honestly tibet is known for their religion and culture, imo if you’re not into that AT ALL, it may get a little boring and repetitive. but it was eye opening for me, get to learn about other cultures and how they pay respects etc, it’s just amazing.

overall climbing up the potala palace was a 5/10 for how hard it is to do so! the entire experience was a 9/10, -1 for the crazy crowd and people-pushing🙂‍↔️ im rlly thankful to experience this tho!
