TOOK 12 DAYS TO RECOVER FROM MY FIRST COVID

Yes… I caught Covid for the first time on 01/06 after letting my guard down.

I (used to) practice good hygiene habits such as sanitizing / washing my hands at all times;

refrained from touching my face;

masking up whenever necessary.

HOWEVER, I stopped doing all these at the start of the year and (inevitably) fell into the hands of Covid🥲.

It took me 12 days to test negative🤡 and here are my symptoms:

-painful sore throat

-lost my taste buds and eventually lost my appetite (water tasted metallic and food tasted really bland)

Really grateful that I didn’t experience other symptoms but honestly, those days were arduous.

I’m glad it’s over now :’). (Sadly, I still experience involuntary cough at intermittent times)
