Best curry udon in Japan!

This was such an unexpected find but I love love loveeeeed it so much 🥰 we were in the omotesando neighbourhood shopping (ahem get your polene, on shoes, gentle monster, tamburins while the yen is weak) and got hungry!

The bf was craving noodles so we randomly walked and found this place called Shimada Udon! I ordered a tempura udon (second pic) and bf ordered the curry udon (first pic) which omg I took a mouthful of his curry udon soup and I was like OMG what is this sorcery. The soup was rich w a nice cheesy curry flavour but NOT JELAT. 🍜🥘

We finished the whole bowl of soup and I was so tempted to get a second bowl. We then found out it was a v popular joint which was featured in some Japanese blogs and on insta as well! ☺️🥰
