Chef Napoli Matfia’s convenience store tiramisu

On the episode of the convenience store challenge in culinary wars, chef napoli mafia won first place with his chestnut tiramisu. All of the ingredients he used was from the convenience store but it looked so good, just like what you would get from a restaurant! My mouth was literally watering when i saw the judges tasting it. Hence, ive decided to recreate it myself!

I tried to get the same ingredients he used from local supermarket and 7-11 and then went through the scenes when he was making the tiramisu again.

I would say the steps wasn’t difficult and the end product ive done looks good too. Taste wise… its

not bad but neither was it good? 😅

Maybe because i whipped the fresh cream myself instead of using those from cream puffs? Idk. I personally felt that it might be better to use cream cheese instead of the laughing cow’s cheese cubes which he did in the show. Also, the digestive biscuits doesnt taste as well when you eat it altogether? It has a grainy kind of texture which i didnt quite like. Maybe i should have used the usual ladyfingers instead. 🤔

These are just my personal thoughts and im not a professional baker. Let me know what you think if you tried to recreate this dessert as well ok?
