Walk-In Wardrobe Dream: IKEA Pax

As my house is coming soon, I’m now trying to sort out all my furnitures I want and doing lots of research on them!

And I thought it’ll be great to share them with you guys as I go along!

Today, I wanted to share something I did in my wardrobe now, and will be doing in my new house!

I always wanted a walk-in wardrobe so I was adamant on getting it in my new house, and luckily my bf agreed so that’s why I looked at the PAX wardrobe again. As you guys probably know, carpentry is really super expensive in SG, and in my previous homes, the basic wardrobes could cost up to 6-7K. And they don’t even have organisers, lights, pants hangers etc.

So yes, PAX wardrobe from IKEA is really a good alternative to customise everything from start to finish, with a good look as well!!

I know it can be difficult to set it up if you have no interest in interior design, but here’s some help!

1️⃣ Set up the dimensions of your room

2️⃣ Add the frames of your wardrobe

*you can add empty frames or pre-built frames!

3️⃣ Edit the interior

- wardrobe shelves

- drawers

- organizers

4️⃣ Lights

- adding lights can elevate the look of your wardrobe

5️⃣ Check out!

- I think a lot of people are worried about having to do it up yourself, but actually delivery + assembly is only 15% of the products’ price (avg around $300?)

The total cost for the wardrobe above is about $2.5K, so really it’s more than half the price of carpentry 😮‍💨. HEHE so please go try it outtt, even if you wna change your wardrobe, go try! It’s like SIMS irl and I love it HEHEH
