BEFORE YOUR WORKOUTS 👇

Prioritize carbs before your workouts. Carbs are your main source of energy for basic exercise and Fat and Carbs are your main source of energy for high intensity exercise.

Some of my favorite sources of carbs for before my workout are rice cakes, bananas and pancakes topped with fruit:)

AFTER YOUR WORKOUTS 👇

Prioritize Protein after your workouts. I aim to eat about 25-35g of Protein with each meal with an additional 1-2 high protein snacks in between.

Some of my favorite sources of Protein (as a pescatarian) are Wild caught Salmon burgers, eggs and a Protein powder supplement.

Play around with what works for you and just aim for better quality sources of the above.

Keeping a protein supplement on hand has saved my life more times than not for a quick source of protein after your workouts if you can’t get a meal in right away!
