Heya girls! I know we always prepare ourselves for the monthly cycle and the cramps can be differently painful for us so I suggest you do these yoga poses to ease your period pain. 🧘🏻‍♀️

BUT— why do yoga? Yoga is known is known to calm and bring harmony between the mind and the body. It also helps in improving strength, flexibility, and balance. There are many benefits of yoga, do it carefully with a relaxed mind. Anyhow you also don’t need to do a real yoga session. Just do these poses where you can & when you start to feel the cramps. I’m no yogi but I also do these poses too and it indeed helps! 👌🏻

Follow the steps in the photos how to do it. Don’t worry if you’re not flexible enough because you can do the modifications. 😊

1. The Child’s Pose don’t need any effort or strength to do so, this can be easily done in between a busy routine since this is just a resting pose to relax and ease lower back pain.

2. Proceed to the Downward Facing Dog after the child’s pose. This is a classic pose among yogis and can be done in the morning when you start your day.

3. This Camel Pose is a slightly demanding but an effective cramp relieving stretching pose that engages with your lower stomach and pelvic muscles. After doing this position, you can go back to the child’s pose to counteract the intense back bend.

4. The Bow is another back bend position but an energizing pose which can be a good boost for the day if ever you feel uncomfortable at work or at home. Remember to slowly release and exhale.

5. Legs Up the Wall is a very easy position and has a calming effect to improve circulation, soften pelvic muscles, and alleviate cramps.

6. And finally the perfect position when you’re getting calm and comfortable, Reclined Goddess. Also a good cool down position after all these poses. This can also be done in your bed with a hot compress.

Make sure to stretch first if you plan on doing a session and drink water afterwards. 1 session of this pose set is done for 30-60 seconds each with 2-4 reps. However, if you have tried every possible solution to ease your cramps but nothing’s working, it would be best to have a check up with your doctor. 🤍
