📊phases:
•extreme calorie defecit (less than 1k cals/day)
•transitioned into calorie surplus (more than 2k cals/day)
•transitioned into maintenance (around 1700 cals/day)
📈my weight fluctuations between jan-oct:
115 lbs peak deficit
151 lbs peak surplus
140 lbs mid maintenance
📊emotions and energy:
•defecit: low energy, super irritable & low patience
•surplus: HIGH energy, great moods, lots of patience
•maintenance: average energy, stable all around.
📈I was aiming for 150-200g protein/ day during my surplus. Transitioning to eating 2,000+ calories a day after eating 1,000 or less for months was not easy.
📉The transition to get to 150-200 and 2,000g / day took about a month and a half. The transition was gradual and I simply wasn’t hungry beyond the amount I ate in a deficit so most of this transition consisted of force feeding myself. Protein kept me satiated from it turning into a “dirty bulk!” I had to keep in mine HOW you bulk, matters. A dirty and a clean bulk are not the same!!
