Life after becoming mom

My life before I was a mom vs after ..

I met my sons father (my now husband) through eHarmoney, we lived about 3 hours apart a was a very busy person my life basically revolved around school and work… he was the person who made me see there was more to life, he believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself.. when I was at my lowest point… he was & still is the best thing that could have happened to me… fast forward to us living together we got married in July of 2022

My life was finally at its peak I was finally happy and living my best life. I had lost the weight ( well over 150lbs) I final knew what it was like to have some confidence, I am well established in my career as a hairstylist I’m starting to move past the point of self hate at this point and life is good… but my greatest blessing came October 9th of that year exactly 3 months to the day of us getting married I got the best news possible…. I found out I was pregnant!!!

After being told it would probably never happen for me, my prayers were finally answered and I was going to get to be a mom after all!!!

Now onto the main question… how has my life changed since becoming a mom..

my son will be 15 months old in September for reference

-being tired is the new normal

- I don’t find my self dressing any different … I don’t get this whole “dress like a mom” thing I dress like I like to dress… I spent enough time hiding my body I’m the smallest I’ve ever been and I actually feel confident in my skin for a change just because I’m a mom don’t mean I have to dress any specific type of way.. I still wear skinny jeans, crop tops bikinis and have gauges and piercings and bright blue hair 🤷‍♀️

-I’m in my bluey era (my son is not the only bluey obsessed person in this house 😂)

- he is my best friend … I love having him with me as much as possible he makes every single day an adventure

- I def have more laundry to do now

-he has inspired me to further myself and get my personal trainer and nutritionist certification (something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time) he inspires me to better myself because I want him to see that if he wants something that not NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

- he has gave love a whole new meaning from the very first moment i pulled him out and held him against me he changed my entire life in ways that I cannot even begin to explain or put into words

Being a mom has been such a blessing and watching this boy grow every single day is amazing to be a mom is an honor, a privilege and I cannot thank god enough for giving me this little man he is my entire world and I will do everything I can to make sure he has the best life possible
