Most Authentic Tsukemen + Ramen in SG!

Sanpoutei Ramen

My partner and I have been supporting this ramen shop for the longest time but we have always been ordering the tonkatsu ramen and nothing else. Not sure why but only recently did we hear that the tsukemen is really good too and we also lost our tsukemen virginity in Japan LOL. So upon hearing this news, we had to revisit!

Here's what we ordered and our review:

1) Tonkatsu Ramen with Egg & Char Siew

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 5

- Broth is super thick but not to the point where it gets jelak. The pork is well charred and disintegrates in your mouth (fatty and juicy)!

- Noodles are handmade (they even have a small room in the restaurant to make the noodles)

2) Rich Dried Sardine Tsukemen

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 5

- I know sardine may not be everyone's cup of tea but PLEASE listen to me if you're not a sardine lover; you literally can't taste the sardine and the dipping broth is super flavourful!! It has bits of char siew in it too.

- I was literally so full towards the end but I couldn't stop eating because that's how tasty it was LOLOL

- They give you some broth in a jug on the side to pour it into the dipping broth to dilute it to make it into a soup.

Overall: Vibes literally felt like we were in Japan and anyway I trust the food here because it literally originated from Niigata, Japan. So please give this a try when you're in Holland Village! (Heard there's an outlet in orchard too)
