affordable & popular ramen in orchard 🍜

Saw this ramen place blew up on Tiktok awhile back and have added it to my must try when I’m in the town area! We walked past it the other day and saw that there wasn’t any queues so we decided to have ramen for dinner! 🍜

Founded by the Tokyo Ramen of the Year 2012 Champion, Chef Satoshi Ikuta, the Ramen Nagi chain has over 50 branches worldwide. They offer 4 signature Ramen King bowls ranging from the normal Tonkotsu broth ($15.90), Black King broth 🖤 ($17.90), Red King broth ❤️ ($17.90) and Green King broth 💚 ($17.90).

We weren’t feeling adventurous that day so we got the good ol’ Tonkotsu broth to try. I liked that the soup wasn’t very thick and rich but it was just the right amount of richness and wouldn’t make me feel surfeiting after drinking too much! 😬

It was also the first time I see gyoza in this form - mini gyoza bites held together by the thin layer of crisp. Not a huge fan of it though as I prefer my gyoza to be big and juicy. 🥴

Overall, a very heartening and warm meal, and I’d definitely go back to try their other ramens since it’s just located in town and it’s pretty affordable as well! 👍🏻
