One of my favorite parts of my routine before bed is having a cup of herbal tea.

Having a warm drink helps with digestion and can improve gut health over time by aiding the growth of probiotics. It's also (obviously) a great way to stay hydrated and helps to avoid sipping on other, not so great alternatives. Having something warm and soothing also helps me wind down for bed.

By having different kinds of herbal teas each night, I also get their benefits including anti-inflammatory effects and high levels of antioxidants. Here's my weekly schedule and how each tea benefits health!

MONDAY: lemon & ginger - rich in vitamin c and antioxidants, anti-inflammatory effects and soothes muscles

TUESDAY: chamomile - helps improve sleep quality and reduce bloating

WEDNESDAY: hibiscus - high in antioxidants, supports liver

THURSDAY: peppermint - soothes the digestive tract

FRIDAY: rooibos - antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that support heart health

SATURDAY: fennel - digestive aid and antioxidant rich

SUNDAY: ginger & turmeric - anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and promotes joint health
