In September, in just 21 days time I lost 5 lbs. & I wanted to share the key components to that weight loss!

Protein:

Every meal I had I focused on adding healthy proteins into the meal. Whether it be; tofu, chicken, beef, fish, tempeh or beans I'm always making that be a focal point of the meal. Along with an array of vegetables and carbs like rice or oats.

Snacks:

Making sure to snack with high protein & veggie options + doing it every 2-3 hours is so key for keeping the metabolism boosted and to keep energy throughout the day! I love planning veggies with dips like hummus or cottage cheese or making protein bars/bites as fun snacking options.

Plan:

Knowing what you're eating each week + making it ahead of time saves SO much time throughout the week + helps you feel confident on what you're eating which can help stay on a food plan so much easier than not planning ahead! I'll even pack a lunch box now for the day ahead so I'm fully prepared and can just grab and go in the mornings.

Walk:

I set a goal of walking 10,000 steps each day for 21 days and this helped me keep moving every day of the week + created low impact workout routines. You'd be amazed at how you can feel even by just walking more everyday!

Supplements:

I'm a big believer of supplementation to get more nutrients into your daily routine! Everyday (typically for breakfast) I have a high protein meal replacement shake packed with 24g of soy protein and nutrients that gets my day started on a healthy step! Plus I'll pair it throughout the day with a black/green herbal tea that boosts my metabolism and energy, probiotics which helps to keep a healthy gut and a fat reducer that helps eliminate visceral fat trough the organs! These all keep me on track and help provide simple solutions to getting more nutrients in my day and feeling so much better!

Water:

Water and hydration is so key to a healthy lifestyle and reaching your weight loss goals. I made a goal of 1 gallon of water a day to keep my body hydrated and so I can be able to digest my foods better and WOW do I feel so much better ALL around from that adjustment!

By these steps I was able to lose 5 lbs in just 21 days and feel SO much better than before!
