I love yoga because it helps me feel like my strongest best self. Yoga is a practice that strengthens my mind and body and makes me feel most connected to myself. I love this Warrior series to be empowered in my body and feel the strongest.

Mountain Pose: Stand in a neutral position with your arms relaxed at your side. Breathe deeply for 5 breaths.

Warrior 1: Step your right foot back and turn your toes out to a 45 degree angle. Bend your left knee over your ankle. Bring your arms up over your head and inhale. Arch your back gently. Hold and breathe deeply for 5 breaths.

Warrior 2: Keep looking ahead and turn your right foot out to 90 degrees. Stretch out both arms parallel to your feet, palms down, until level with your shoulders. Swivel your left arm forward and your right arm back. Make sure the left knee is still bent over the left ankle and let your hips sink toward the floor. Hold and breathe deeply for 5 breaths.

Peaceful Warrior: Turn your palms upward. Lean back and slide your right hand down your right leg. Arch your back gently, curl your left arm over your head, and look up. Hold and breathe deeply for 5 breaths.

Repeat this entire sequence on the other side and see how strong you feel after.
