Gambas al ajilloย is one of the most popularย tapasย in Spain ๐Ÿ˜‹ This Spanish take on garlic shrimp or prawns is full of rich robust flavours (where my garlic lovers at!! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป) and you can easily whip it up in 10 mins or so! ๐Ÿ‘€ Who doesnโ€™t love a quick and easy recipe thatโ€™s fancy enough to impress your guests or your date? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคญ

100-120g extra virgin olive oil

10-12 cloves of garlic, sliced or minced

1 tsp chili flakes

10-15 prawns, deveined and deshelled (๐Ÿ”ฅTIP โ€” pat dry before cooking!)

1 tbsp lemon juice

Handful of chopped parsley

Salt & pepper to taste

๐Ÿฅ– Bread options โ€” sliced baguette, focaccia, or sourdough!

1๏ธโƒฃ In a large pan, warm the olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, lower the heat, and sautรฉ until the garlic is aromatic and just starts to brown. Be careful not to let the garlic burn!

2๏ธโƒฃ Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the prawns and toss in oil.

3๏ธโƒฃ Add chili flakes and lemon juice. Stir until prawns are barely cooked through.

4๏ธโƒฃ Lastly, turn off the heat and add chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
