With long weekends coming up, many of us are probably gearing up for short trips in the region! 🗺️

We didn’t get any check-in baggage for our most recent trip as it was quite short, so here’s how we packed for 4D3N trip in KL 🥳 ——— applicable for short-haul flights in the region! 🏖️

1️⃣ 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐔𝐌𝐄, 𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐃

Worried about breaking your favourite perfume? Exceeding the limit for liquids? Consider getting an atomiser instead! —— it’s super nifty and easy to carry around, plus points for being hardy and durable! ⛑️

2️⃣ 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘!

Ever wondered what to do with all those samples from your shopping hauls? STASH THEM AWAY and bring them for your short trips! 🧳 Some brands also give out cute lippies💄(YSL, Dior etc.) that fit right into your purse 👛 —— those are must-brings! 🥰

3️⃣ 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐙𝐈𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊 𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐒

We pack similar items based on their categories into separate ziplock bags for easy visibility — eg. skincare🧖🏻‍♀️, medication💊 etc.

✨PRO TIP✨Cling wrap bottles such as cleansing oil so it doesn’t leak and mess up your entire package! 🎁

4️⃣ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒 & 𝐖𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄

This hack is similar to Hack#3 above but bears highlighting separately because staying connected to our devices is EVERYTHING (unless you’re on a device-free trip) 🛜 To avoid the hassle of finding your wires / chargers, place them in ONE bag and one bag ONLY 🔌

✨PRO TIP✨Always wise to pack a phone charger / wire in your bag (especially on a long haul flight) in case your devices run out of juice!🪫

✨PRO TIP✨Bring along tote bags in case of emergency! You’ll never know if the marts charge for plastic bags, or when you’ll need an extra hand-carry!

5️⃣ 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐌

When we learned about this, we were left wondering how many of the light leaks on our pictures were caused by the x-ray machines at security checks 🤯 You can protect your film and film camera(s) with a reusable bag coated with lead 🎞️📸 —— we got ours from FILEM
