We're a couple who likes to eat!

And that's okay! My partner knows that losing weight has nothing to do with him, and he supports me in doing so! Which means I get to make the meal plan and grocery store runs.

I never want him to feel like he can't enjoy food around me, so we always try to have one meal together each day, and we try to have a date on weekends. When we go out, either he gets half my food or I box it up and bring it home with us!

We are a snacky couple, too. We have a cabinet overflowing with snacks! And if I don't have options that are low cal, like jello, I share the snacks with him in smaller amounts! I got some pork wontons from Aldi, and I cooked up a full serving and gave him half or more, depending on how much I wanted!

And I never try to cook "diet" or lite food. My mom had me go through that phase when I first learned how to cook. While there were some good recipes, most of them sucked. And we both deserve to have good tasting food!
