exes & should you be concerned? 🧐

ooo touchy topic this one, but i’m sure at some point in time, you’ve probably wondered about your partner’s ex(es), and how they used to date 😵‍💫 does he still think of her? were they closer than the both of you? so many qns that i myself have pondered about, so here comes the tea! 🙊

to wonder about this is extremely normal, but u definitely shldn’t be obsessed with knowing every little detail 🥶 it can be depressing to know or think that someone else was once so close, or closer to your s/o before you, and don’t even get me started on the intimate things that they probably did before 🫥 nonetheless, this is how relationships work, so no point complaining and sulking about it! if u feel that it rlly bothers u, talk it out! that’s what i did with my partner, because when i knew him he was still SUPER obsessed with his ex (we only got tgt after i knew he had truly put her down) but even afterwards, i still had a few talks with him becos i just didn’t feel comfortable about it 🥺 thankfully, he alw comforted me and patiently talked it out with me, so now whenever the topic comes up, i’m a lot more comfortable about bringing it up cos it doesn’t bother me anymore! 🥹

to put it in a different perspective, exes are exes for a reason, and regardless of the reason, know that they broke up for a reason, and he/she chose u! 😌 if it’s making you uncomfortable, talk it out with ur partner, and if they’re unwilling to be open about it, maybe it’s time to take a step back and reconsider the r/s 😳 not just because of the fact that they aren’t being transparent and might have smth to hide, but also because they’re not even willing to put it the slightest effort to put your mind at ease 🫤 anyhow, my DMs are always open, and if you need to talk about ANYTHING, feel free to reach out! 🩷
