🦐🐟 fav seafood soup for emo days

Here's for people who loooove seafood or soups like myself 🤤😋

I stumbled upon Yan Ji Gourmet Seafood Soup By GoodEarth two years ago and fell in love. There are many branches in Singapore now, including one at Westgate!

My go-to soup is Dory Fish Soup (S$14.50) simply because i like fish and it's in the mid-range 💰among the rest of the items in the menu.

🍜 The broth is extremely fragrant and delicious! The taste is simply so comforting, almost like home-cooked but even better! Other than the soft slices of fish, and the perfectly cooked prawn, what surprised me is the chunk of minced pork - I'm not typically a fan of minced pork because of the strong pork taste but this has some bits of minced mushroom which helps to neutralise the taste of pork. I love it so much!!

🌶️ I don't eat chilli or spicy food but this chilli is amazing!! I'm not sure what is in it other than lime that makes it sooo tasty!

I always leave the place feeling very full so the portion may even be considered big for some.

😌 This is by far my fav place to go for seafood soups. I always pair this with white rice although you may order this alone or with noodles. I can also imagine buying this soup back for the family to enjoy 😋

Eating this meal on a rainy or emo days comforts me so much and makes all the darkness in my life disappear 😂💖
