4 High Protein Breakfast Ideas 🍳🥞🥣🥚☕️

I love fueling my body after a workout and protein does just that! Incorporating protein, fat, and carbs every meal helps satisfy your cravings, keeps you full for longer, and fuels your body properly. ☘️

🥣 chia seed pudding- in any container, add in 2 tbsp of chia seeds, 3/4 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 cup almond milk, frozen fruit, & 2 tbsp flaxseed meal. to add even more protein, feel free to add in protein powder! I like to top my bowls with honey and fresh or frozen fruit. this meal prep is perfect to bring with you on a busy day or to work for breakfast! this also would be the perfect dessert after a long day!

🍞🫐 cottage cheese blueberry toast- i have been obsessed with cottage cheese lately and it is the perfect, easy breakfast idea. if you don't like cottage cheese, or think you don't- i dare you to try it! I never thought I liked it and then I tested it out and boy am I hooked. You can disguise the taste by blending it up, covering it with honey or fruit, or using a balsamic glaze! here I just put 1/2 cup on top of sourdough bread with a little honey and blueberries and it is SO DELICIOUS!

🥤🍌 spinach mango banana smoothie- this smoothie fills me up all morning! it is the perfect combination of protein, carbs, & fat and packed with fiber! you can mix and match depending on what ingredients you have handy, but my go to creation is- protein powder, almond milk, spinach, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup mango, 1.5 tbsp chia seeds, 2 tbsp flaxseed meal, dollop of yogurt, and I like to throw in some Benefiber for extra fiber! I put the smoothie in little to go cups and take it with me on the go!

🍳 egg white omelette with turkey bacon- this is my go to breakfast when I am at home! i work from home a few days a week and i always keep these ingredients handy for a hearty breakfast. i sometimes mix up the sides, but for the most part i make an omelette with egg whites, broccoli, onion, & feta, and then on the side I will have some tomatoes, avocado, and sometimes I will put it on toast! turkey bacon is a great way to get extra protein in for low calories! I get mine from Trader Joes- they have the best turkey bacon.
