Choosing my own engagement ring 💍

Your girl recently got engaged! Here’s the details on my ring and also why I chose my own ring.

I knew I never wanted a solitaire ring and a round cut so last year I happened to see an ad on Authica J that specialises in lab grown diamond. Initially I thought I wanted an emerald cut but after trying it, I realised I liked it more in my eyes than on my fingers. The stone we chose was a VS1, colour D, 0.7 oval diamond. My ring size is US2.5 which is really small so choosing a smaller diamond saved us lots of money. Overall my fiancé spent less than 3k for the whole ring which includes free polishing.
