Get your Ayam Penyet fix at Lucky Plaza 🌶🥵

One of my favourite go to places for Ayam penyet is none other than Lucky Plaza! ☺️ There’s tons of Indo and Filipino food there to get your fix for sure. I’m aware that the more known Ayam penyet stall in the area that’s presumably more popular but I’m used to going to this other restaurant instead.

If you’re a spicy lover, you’ll be happy to find that they offer 5 different types of chillies from Sweet Chilli Sauce, Green Chilli, Belacan, Sangan Chilli and Original Chilli (Spiciest) and is bound to give you that kick you desire!

• Lime juice | $2.50

• Oxtail soup | $9.90

• Ayam Penyet | $8.90

• Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken + Rice) | $8.90

• Kang Kong | $6.90

*Personally, I thought the rice portion was quite small, so if you’re someone who likes to mix sauce with your rice you might want to add 1 more portion of rice.

🖼Ambience

The restaurant itself is easy to find, it’s directly located right above the food hall at ground B1. There’s usually a queue but the food comes pretty quick so you don’t have to wait that long either.

Within the restaurant it’s usually pretty crowded and tables are relatively packed so in a way, it feels pretty cosy and wholesome? Likewise to gathering at someone’s house for food.
