Bangkok’s street food is a must-try experience. Bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and affordable prices make it easy to see why Thai street food is well loved. Every try will definitely leave you wanting more!

Here are a few of my favourite street food places in Bangkok. While they are usually busy, the stall owners are always happy to find you a seat and turnover is quick:

Thanee Khao Moo Daeng Roasted & Bbq Pork Rice

• Known for red and crispy pork rice covered in red bbq sauce that is very popular with the office workers in the area. Try a plate and a bowl of wanton noodle; while they were famous for the rice dishes, I really enjoyed the noodle.

Rung Rueang Pork Noodle (Left Shop)

• Recognised by the Michelin bib gourmand for several years now, Rung Rueang is known for make-your-own noodle bowls, with various noodle, soup and treat choices. The Tom Yum soup with glass noodle is delicious!

Nai Ek Roll Noodle

• Famous for peppery rolled noodle soup with crispy pork. This was my favourite dish of all, and its location in Chinatown puts it as one of the most accessible places for Bangkok’s street food.

ZAP PONFAI by puponfai

• Well known seafood restaurant that started out as a delivery only service. The seafood here is fresh and flavourful, and you can head on to Soi Chula for some dessert from Tuay Tung Ice-cream.
