3 Exercises to Do for Glute Gains !!
Glute day is my favorite workout day.. anyone else?
Here are my current favs for glute growth:
#1 HIP THRUSTS | 4 sets 6-8 reps (depending on the weight that day)
Exercise how to:
- Start on the floor with the weight on your hips
- Make sure to use a barbell pad
- Hold onto the barbell with both hands and push the weight off the floor through your heels
- Push all the way up and hold for 2 seconds
- Return to starting position
#2 ROMANIAN DEADLIFTS | 4 sets 6-8 reps
Exercise how to:
- Start with your feet shoulder-width apart
- Grab the barbell with your hands right outside your feet
- Hinge at your hips while keeping your knees slightly bent
- Bend down until you feel a pull in your hamstrings and glutes
- Return back up to starting position
#3 REVERSE LUNGES | 4 sets 6-8 reps per leg
Exercise how to:
- Start with barbell on your shoulders
- Keep feet at shoulder width apart
- Lunge back to 90 degrees
- Return to start position and alternate
