5 Things you MUST Do in Portugal 🇵🇹

If you ask me, Portugal was my favourite countries of all the European countries I’ve visited — you’d get a good mix of amazing food and beautiful architecture where ever you go. I’d spend a month there easily if I could!

1️⃣ 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐮í𝐬 𝐈 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨 🌉

Somehow this place was extra special not because of the riverside architecture and the sloping hills on both sides of the riverbank, but the fact that we caught a double rainbow on a rainy day right above the bridge! 🌈

2️⃣ 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐠𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 🥧

No trip to Portugal is complete without tasting its delicious and crisp egg tarts. Try the tarts from Pastéis de Belém or Manteigaria — they have various outlets in Lisbon and Porto city.

3️⃣𝐒𝐮𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬 🏝

If you’re thinking ‘Sentosa?’ Think again. Be prepared to meet impressive limestone cliffs and rock formations that encase little beaches within. They were a little hard to get to as you had to climb down from the cliffs — not all beaches had direct paths down.

Try heading to these beaches with easier paths!

- Praia da Boneca

- Praia de Dona Ana

- Praia do Pinhão

4️⃣ 𝐆𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 🌊

Look out on the vast horizon at Cabo da Roca and explore its rocky cliffs and the beautiful facade of its lighthouse.

5️⃣ 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐨’ (𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬) 🤳

If there’s one thing you should look out for, is the views.

- 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨: Miradouro da Vitória, Jardim do Morro

- 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐧: Castelo de S. Jorge, Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Miradouro das Portas do Sol & Santa Justa Lift (Instead of paying for the lift, head towards the viewing platform for free that’s just one floor lower)
