(A-F) spice things up with alphabet dating in SG

Hi Zesties!

Not sure if you guys have seen it, the latest trend on TikTok is “alphabet dating”. “Alphabet dating” is basically doing activities beginning with a different alphabet from A to Z. Honestly, this idea is amazing and perfect for us because Singapore is so small and sometimes the activities do tend to get repetitive. I have to say that this not only apply to couples but you can also do all these activities with your friends if y’all also running out of ideas on what to do next!!

A -

1️⃣ Art Jamming 🎨 - The one I love to go to is Cafe de Paris located at 313 Orchard. It’s so convenient and it’s about $27/pax for 3h and it comes with a complimentary free drink.

3️⃣ Archery 🏹

4️⃣ Arcade 🕹️ - ICYMI, Orchard recently opened a new timezone arcade right above Orchard MRT and it’s so big that there’s even a bowling alley and bumper cars!

1️⃣ Boxing 🥊

2️⃣ Baking 🥣 - Fret not if you don’t know how to bake, you can always get one of those pre-mixes and all you have to do is add an egg, some oil and water to mix. Pop it in the oven and your cookies are ready! It's fun and easy and you get to enjoy your own bakes after!!!

C -

1️⃣ Concert 🎶 - There are so many concerts happening this year and next, I’m sure there would be at least 1 that interests you!!!

2️⃣ Cycling 🚲 - Thanks to the number of parks and beaches we have in Singapore, cycling is always a good bonding activity and so relaxing!

3️⃣ Cat Cafe 🐈🐈‍⬛ - Purrs, if you’re feeling lazy and you’re a cat lover, get your dose of serotonin at a cat cafe just chilling beside relaxing/playful kitties!

4️⃣ Cinema 🍿- If you have yet to watch Barbie or Oppenheimer, what are you waiting for!? There is also no lack of new movies coming out every now and then, so this is definitely a top activity for all of us!

D -

1️⃣ Dinner date 🍽️ - I’m sure this is an activity that goes without saying! A good dinner date once every now and then is so important, where you get to focus on just the food and your company!!! Its a good way to reconnect at the end of a tough week or month!

2️⃣ Dempsey - There is just so much to explore in Dempsey, from restaurants and cafes to shopping! If you have yet to visit Dempsey (are you even Singaporean!?), you’re missing out on Dover Street Market where you get to shop a unique selection of goods/fashion items from curated designers and artists!

3️⃣ Dimsum 🥟 - There are so many good dimsum in Singapore and the usual popular ones are like Swee Choon and 126!!

4️⃣ Dog cafe 🐕

E -

2️⃣ East Coast Park - There are so many activities that you can do in ECP! From cycling to eating at Lagoon Food Village!!

3️⃣ Evening Walks - Sometimes a day out doesn’t necessarily have to be filled with activities, it could be as simple and romantic as slowing down and taking an evening walk together, just talking about anything and everything under the sun!

4️⃣ Escape Room - This is quite a popular activity in Singapore and I love how escape rooms always change up the theme so that there’s always a new one for us to try out and explore!

1️⃣ Froyo Date - I noticed the trend and love for froyo has died in Singapore. But as a girl who used to work in a froyo store previously, my love for froyo never dies!! People tend to overlook the froyo stores these days and it’s sad but having a little froyo once in awhile could spice things up instead of your usual ice cream spot!

2️⃣ Film Shoots 🎞️ - Film is not dead! Discover and explore Singapore for cute places to shoot with your film cameras!

3️⃣ Flower Shopping 💐 - ICMYI, Uniqlo recently opened their flower stand right outside their flagship store at Orchard Central! Alternatively, there are many other cold rooms in Singapore that you can get flowers at a really affordable price!

4️⃣ Fine Dining - I love fine dining, sometimes it doesn’t hurt to be a little fancy hehe
