Will there be any chance?

Due to certain reason, we have progressed to adding each other on tele (and I am the one who ask for it as usual).

Casually, I asked him whether he wanna grab dinner together if he is okay with the idea. Out of my surprise, he agreed and asked if it would just be the two of us or am I inviting someone else to the dinner too.

I asked him back if he is okay with just two of us and was prepared for his rejection as he read and didnt reply. End up, he replied the next day and yes we are going for dinner together.

But then, when I texted him about other random stuff, he read and didnt reply me again. I told myself not to be bothered with it but I cant help getting affected by it. I feel like I am getting mixed signals, or maybe I am just affected by others' interpretation of his behaviour.

Nevermind, shall just leave all of it to nature and see what will progress from the upcoming dinner.
