Wow, this is a work of art indeed.

It’s not often that I get to taste food that looks like a beautiful artwork. Literally blown away. The interior is another story to say, it’s so zen, calming, simply so beautiful, just like a work of art at each corner. Indeed, perfect for a date in the afternoon, or a date night out.

We had the Hotate Salmon Zara Soba, Nori Tacos, Sushi Ball and the Goma Goma.

My favourite dish is the Nori Tacos! 🤩 I ordered one each of the Assorted Sashimi and Soft Shell Crab. Well, imagine a crispy seaweed shell, which was the main highlight here, biting into it with the toppings - oooh lala~

Sushi ball was so cute, but was the most underwhelming one haha. It’s essentially the same as your normal sushi, just in a circular form. Got to say, they were very fresh though, so that’s a plus. Else, I think this can be skipped!

For the Soba, I felt like the highlight was in the sauce. The hint of tangy yet subtle sweetness, went so well with the buckwheat soba and the toppings. Although the dish also had the torched Hokkaido Scallops, Salmon and Sous vide egg yolk at the top (which was all tasty, nothing to fuss about)- the sauce was the one that brought all of them together.

Goma Goma is my second favourite item here. 💯 A dense but still slightly fluffy black sesame cake, house-made black sesame ice cream that’s thick and creamy, as well as a speculoos crumble, really …. so DELICIOUS. A scoop of ice cream and cake, imagine a luscious combination in your mouth. Ok but tbh, I felt like the speculoos didn’t went well with black sesame flavours, and was more for decor purposes.

I rarely fancy fine dining, because of the hideous portion size and hefty price tag, but this place is one I would head back again. Fantastic and beautiful dishes, awesome ambience, quality experience. 👍🏻

Peace!
