Tesla’s Full Self Driving Worth It?

PROS:

⭐️After drowning at work for more than 12 hrs, the FSD feature is actually a life savior. FSD can help to navigate on congested highway, lane changing, lane keep assist. FSD also help keep a relative safe distance from trucks or big vehicles by shifting slightly away from big vehicles while maintaining in the lane

⭐️FSD is also known to regulate the speed of the vehicle capping it the upper limit at 85 mph (137 kmh) preventing from road rage even after getting blasted by your boss

⭐️FSD can help to prolong battery life by minimizing acceleration/deceleration on long road trips, making it far more battery and time efficient

⭐️ FSD uses camera based sensor and AI that sees further then the human eye, often time detecting threat earlier than one possibly can

CONS:

❌ FSD works on camera based sensor so driving late at night with no street light will dampen the ability of FSD

❌ FSD will ensure the car and the front vehicle maintains a safe driving distance. QQ many vehicles purposefully exploit this tech and will lane change in front of Tesla. (But OFC, Tesla will quickly recalculate the speed it needs to prevent a collision)

❌ Will still have to constantly looking at traffic around you and apply pressure on the steering wheels - kinda annoying as it will chime every 2-3mins should Tesla detect any lack of concentration (eyes not on the road or hands not on the steering wheel)

Still under review:

🤔 Self Parking - TBH, only tried it a couple of times and the steering wheel turns scarily, personally will not recommend using the Self Parking function HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH (but I might try the parallel parking feature should I need to parallel park one day LOL)

🤔 ASS - Actual Smart Summoning - Frankly haven’t tried this as well… wonder how will Tesla take the Costco crowd without a driver.. HAHAHAHAHAH LOL

IMO: Commuting with Tesla FSD drastically reduces the burden of driving especially after an eventful day at work. Spending $99 to avoid traffic accident and be a more considerate driver sounds like a steal.

Personally when activating FSD, it really feels like asking god to take the wheel, very reassuring. LOL
