💄bridal makeup is NOT your usual makeup!

while i had a decent amount of experience wearing heavy makeup for dance performances and competitions, i am definitely the opposite of it irl. i can barely even remember wearing sun screen! (though i really should be 🙃)

my mua prepped me well in advance that the makeup would be heavier than usual day to day make up - which for me, it would be going from zero to a full 200%. and because i wasnt used to it, i found myself brushing my face accidentally and was mildly frustrated when i couldnt wipe my face properly when i started perspiring 🥲 Pulling through the day with makeup was thankfully made so much easier when my best friends who accompanied me helped to carefully dry my perspirations and ensured I was cool most of the time with portable fans. at the rate I was perspiring, i was pretty sure even my MUA’s amazing skill would not have allowed my makeup to stay for > 12 hours.

of course, all these discomfort were proven to be worth it it when i saw my photos, be it these that my mua sent me from her camera, or my actual PWS photos. GURL I WAS STUNNED BECAUSE I NEVER KNEW I COULD LOOK LIKE THIS 🥹🥹🥹 my features were very nicely enhanced and highlighted in my photos, and i honestly love it so much 🥰

so to all barefaced girlies out there, have a little more faith and just trust the process. (also, if you are not sure of mua… i strongly recommend my mua @anastasia_powderpuffed . SHE IS AMAZING ♥️)
