I went crazy asking for quotes

This took me roughly 2 months to compile because I'm psycho. I wanted to choose my wedding dress at The Gown Warehouse first and THEN my MUA. A lot of them don't openly post their rates, so I had to personally dm/email them to get these numbers, which was quite shaggeroni. I don't want my efforts to disappear, so I post here to share with my fellow BTBs hee #weddingplanning #bridalmakeup

I want to lowkey beat myself up because I was very adamant about going for a gown studio + makeup package to save headache but I was afraid that I'll be missing out on better MUA choices so here we are...giving myself a headache 🤪

I want to preface first that these quotes are for my own criteria:

1 fresh look + 1 style change + trial

Morning surcharges are not included yet, so be prepared to fork out a little more! Different MUAs have different surcharges, and some charge more if the location is at Sentosa/Tuas, so please treat my post as a rough gauge, ok?

All these MUAs I've found on instagram/Lemon8/Carousell! I believe if you just search their names on Insta, you can find them easily! By the time you come across this post, they may or may not have changed their prices already, so please do your own due diligence! Also, it depends on whether you go for their junior/senior MUAs. I know I'm missing out on a lot of the very famous go-to ones, but I wanted to look at the ones who freelance by themselves too, some I believe are hidden gems! I'm sorry if some of them lack detailed description, I really just hardcore windowshopped and didn't think too much. I just want to let you discover more about them yourselves!

Quite active on carousell, and they have SUPER AFFORDABLE packages. I really enjoyed watching her work her magic on her models via her time-lapse videos. I THINK her style is quite XiaoHongShu. I believe you'll get more value for money if you get a dress from her shop and get her makeup services together.

I know this sounds very controversial...but sometimes I can't tell issit the MUA artist very good or their models are just VERY CHIO??? Right??? Not all of us have been blessed by the gods so we really have to make do LMAO. Bridal MUAs are all about enhancing our own natural features and we should not be straight up catfishing until our groom cannot recognise us 😑 so I hope y'all have fun choosing

Alright, so in the end I went with feauette.makeup! My friend who works in the MUA industry herself highly recommended her ( she's my bridesmaid so I couldn't possibly get her to do my makeup too - I'm not that cruel )

Also I didn't want to look at the list anymore without my eyeballs spinning in place, so I just went with her reccomendation HAHAHA trust me it was VERY VERY VERY HARD TO CHOOSE but I'm so glad that this headache is over.
