Losing my Dad Suddenly

My dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Stomach Cancer in April 2024. When he was diagnosed, all of us were devastated. 😥

By God's Grace we had a great doctor. And with chemotherapy and my mum's care for him, his condition got better. 5 months after he was diagnosed, the doctor said that he didn't need to do chemotherapy any longer. He just had to take oral medication and have monthly checkups with the doctor. We were all so grateful and were even planning a family vacation to Sabah, Malaysia. 🤭

Last week, everything changed. My dad who was on the road to recovery, passed away suddenly. Our whole world spiraled. Now, we're handling his business, finances and everything that he left. 😭

I am grieving but it comes and goes. I know I have to be strong for my mum. I just moved into my new place with my husband but I feel lost and empty. I have to split my time between my mum's place and my own home. 😭

I am also going back to see my therapist and I hope that I can stop being paralysed by the load of things I have to handle with my mother and younger sister. I know it's a heavy burden but I have to take time to breathe and take things a step at a time. 🥹
