My perfect rainy evening in New York!

I love it when museums are open later or the concept of going to museum after hours, so when I heard the Met museum has been staying open later than usual, this was a no-brainer on a gloomy day.

There were so many couples and they had live classical music on the mezzanine. They also apparently had “specials” at their cafe in the American Wing, but we didn’t try that out. I definitely recommend a visit if you are coming to New York this August or September!

After, we went over to Meijin Ramen for some affordable and delicious food (a rare find on the Upper East Side, in my opinion). We got the beef ramen and the spicy mentaiko mazemen, which is an Asian-inspired take on carbonara. I know it sounds a bit out there but I actually loved it! I always have trouble finding where to eat after the Met.
