Mention Mexican food in Singapore and more often than not, the name Lucha Loco pops up somewhere in the conversation. And yes, it’s usually a positive sentiment.

Located at Duxton Hill, the restaurant exudes a lively vibe - distressed concrete walls that mimic the gritty streets of Mexican back alleys, and a spacious tropical beer garden with long wooden tables, exposed bulbs hanging from a string, vintage wrestling posters, and bright colours all around.

We fell in love with the nacho chips, which came with your usual dips - guac and salsa, but also this spicy pineapple dip which was super interesting.

For Tacos, you will not go wrong with their baja fish, pork and chorizo beef brisket.

We also got the chicken quesadillas, which was a crowd favourite, leading us to order more of them.

I celebrated my birthday there and the staff even provided me with a cute straw hat to take photos in! 🥰
