Wld you queue 1hr+ for this VIRAL shio pan?

The VIRAL shio pan that’s got ppl queuing 2 HOURS just to get their hands on this 🤩🤩

Newly launched at Takashiyama Foodie Delights popup, this Shio Pan by Masterchef Runner-up & the mastermind behind the popular Sourbombe Bakery is alr taking SG by storm with snaking queues & ppl running to give it a try 🤯 My bf queued at 10am for an hour before finally getting for us to try & the queue was growing even longer 😂 Ppl were actually RUNNING to queue!

So now… the verdict of whether it’s worth the queue?

Chewy, crispy, & buttery roll that’s a perfect base for all kinds of ingredient toppings 😍 4.5/5

💚 Green Chilli Onion $4.80

I think this is the most famous one!! Fans of savoury flavours will love this. It’s mixed with cream cheese & rly has a strong green chilli onion taste. Not my fav but rly unique 🤩 4/5

🖤 Truffle $4.20

Omg guys this is SO GOOD!!! The truffle fragrance is sooooo damn strong 😍 It’s just not at the top of the roll where they spread the truffle butter on, it’s infused throughout the soft layers of the roll too 🤤 Truffle lovers gotta try this!! 5/5

🦀 Crab Salad Kombu $9

Was shocked that this is $9 but I think they have real crab slices inside. Umami flavour & rly enjoyable but personally nothing to shout about or special. Try it if you like crab salad? 4/5

🌽 Miso Butter Corn $4.80

I didn’t rly like this cos I’m not a fan of cream cheese and the fillings in this taste very strongly of raw cream cheese. Wasn’t much of a corn flavour to it? 3/5

Bread lovers who are tempted to try this, my verdict is, worth to buy if someone queuing for u (aka bf), not worth if have to queue for 1+ hours 😵 I wld compare the shio pans to Gokoku’s ones, this is less oily & has a cleaner taste, but in texture, both are as chewy & crispy when heated up. The charm of this comes in the different flavours available so if you’re intrigued by them, I guess worth it to queue & try! 👍🏻
