Korean-inspired bakes for high tea 🫖✨✨

The Seoul Mates collab between KneadedbyHans and K.patisserie looked SO GOOD that we were clamouring to get a slot! As expected, this high tea set was beautiful & exquisitely crafted.

Out of all the bakes, our favourite was definitely the 🍵 Matcha Mugwort Tiramisu! It has such a strong matcha flavour and the mugwort adds depth to the bitterness & earthiness ✨ We thoroughly enjoyed all layers of the tiramisu; from the buttery crumbles to the melt-in-the-mouth cream & the moist ladyfingers. 10/10!!

The 🖤 Black Sesame Injeolmi Gateau was another favourite with the rich & nutty black sesame gateau cake! 🌽 Sweet Corn Espresso Cake was super interesting; the corn fragrance was very strong! 🍠 Sweet Potato Mochi Chiffon was quite disappointing as the sweet potato flavour wasn’t distinct other than the mashed sweet potato on top. The chiffon texture wasn’t as fluffy or mochi qq as desired & it overall lacks a flavour profile.

The savoury items, the 🥧 Cheesy Bulgogi Beef Pie & 🍞 Cheesy Dakgalbi Bun were definitely surprisingly delicious! We love the flavours and crispy pastries. A bigger version wld def make for a good meal 😋
