I had the incredible opportunity to observe the HYROX Fitness Challenge at the Singapore Expo, and let me tell you all the deets! ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

HYROX is a global fitness race that combines running with functional workout stations. Participants run 1km and then tackle a workout station, repeating this sequence eight times. It's a true test of endurance, strength, and mental grit.

Below are the weights and route based on individual category:

-1Km run-

1. SkiErg: The first HYROX workout station is 1000m on the Ski Erg. This erg predominantly targets the arm, shoulder & core muscles, however when done efficiently, it also involves muscles in the lower body - making the Ski Erg a full body workout.

-1Km run-

2. Sled Push: Push a sled weighing 152kg (Men) / 102kg (Women) for 2 x 25 meters. Feel the burn in your legs and core!

-1Km run-

3. Sled Pull: Pull a sled weighing 103kg (Men) / 78kg (Women) for 2 x 25 meters. Engage those back muscles and keep moving!

-1Km run-

4. Burpee Broad Jumps: Perform burpees with a broad jump for 80 meters. This station is all about explosive power and stamina.

-1 Km run-

5. Rowing: Row 1,000 meters as fast as you can. It's a full-body workout that tests your cardiovascular endurance.

-1 Km run-

6. Farmers Carry: Carry two kettlebells weighing 24kg each (Men) / 16kg each (Women) for 200 meters. Grip strength and stability are key here.

-1Km run-

7. Sandbag Lunges: Lunge for 100 meters while carrying a 20kg (Men) / 10kg (Women) sandbag. Focus on form and balance.

-1Km run-

8. Wall Balls: Finish strong with 75 /100 wall balls using a 6kg (Men) / 4kg (Women) ball. Squat low and aim high!

The energy at the event was electric, with participants pushing their limits and cheering each other on.
