Incorporating curves into our home

We’ve always envisioned our home to have plenty of rounded corners and arches ✨ So here are some ways we added them to the house!

1. Circle “door handles”

We chose circle cut-outs for our wardrobe instead of having the typical pull-out handles. We love how there aren’t actually handles on ours.

2. Half-arch in the corridor

In our opinion, arches are not overdone yet. We feel that having them adds character to the home and this one creates a nice framing of the living room when viewed from our master bedroom.

3. Half-moon glass partition

We went with this for our semi-open kitchen that can be closed up to keep in cooking fumes and grease. We opted for a transparent glass so that the kitchen isn’t closed off from the rest of the home and guests are still able to see us when we’re in the kitchen.

4. Bathroom tiles

We chose semicircular patterned tiles for our common toilet and geometric patterned tiles for our master toilet. We were on a mission to find quirky tiles and we’re happy to say, “Mission Accomplished”!

5. Glass curved shower screen

We have this in the common toilet to prevent water from splashing onto the sink and cabinet area.

6. Aircon trunking concealment

Our ID ingeniously suggested we curve the edges of the trunking box-up for a smoother and seamless look. Instead of leaving them in boxes which could look unsightly.
