We know that there can be LOADS to consider - but here are the 5 things you can prep - so you can make the most out of your time! 🤗

Have a vision for your home? Compile links, photos, and jot your ideas down! 📝

It would be even more helpful if you could share details of your lifestyle - do you and your SO share a toilet in the morning? Perhaps having a his-and-hers sink would fit well into your lifestyle! Little details like this help your ID design a space that’s perfectly tailored to your daily life 👍 It would be great to share with then a copy of your floorplan as well. 📄

2. 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 💸

Setting a clear budget gives your designer a solid foundation to work from, allowing them to prioritize the most important aspects. 🗄️ With their guidance, you can select materials and finishes that fit your price range without sacrificing the look you want. 🤭

This way, you can make informed choices and avoid any surprises!

3. 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 ⏳

Knowing when you want your home completed and discussing its feasibility with your ID helps set clear expectations. A full renovation usually takes 2 to 6 months, depending on the scope of work, manpower, and resources. 👷‍♂️ But the biggest factor is your decision-making! The renovation’s progress hinges on your timely approval of key choices like layout, tiles, and colors, allowing your ID or contractor to continue the work without delays.

4. 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 ☯️

Once you’ve gathered your Feng Shui guidelines, pass them on to your ID, ASAP! ⏰ This allows them to incorporate those elements into the design, as well as TIME to make any necessary adjustments before the reno starts. 🚜🧱

Lastly, come prepared with questions for your ID! This is your opportunity to seek clarification on anything that might be unclear. 👩‍💻

Ask about their previous projects, preferred materials, renovation process, or anything else that’s on your mind. This will also give you insight into their working styles, most importantly, if they are able to vibe with you. 🤝
