Must-dos after getting your BTO queue number 🏡

Heyyo wassup homies it’s chiobu here! After Neko and I got our queue number for our BTO, this is what we did:

1. Join Telegram chats for the BTO!

Neko and I just searched for the name of our BTO project on telegram and joined the group. Other groups that may be helpful are @btoappupdates where BTO appointment dates are tracked and @sgbto where there’ll be other BTO applicants (and also where you may find a link to the telegram chat for your BTO project)! Super useful because there’ll be discussions on unit selection, live updates on queue numbers etc.

2. Visit HDB’s My Nice Home Gallery

This helped us to get a feel of the size of our future flat, and the possible layout of our home! They also provided some reno tips which were quite useful.

3. View the model of the BTO at HDB Hub

So so important! This helped us to better visualise and compare different blocks rather than just looking at pictures. Remember to bring a laser pointer to point at the particular unit you’re looking at :-)

4. Recce the BTO plot

Most important‼️ We went to look at the plot again and went to nearby HDB blocks to see what the view/noise levels were like at different levels. This also helped us decide which floor we want!
