Sourdough pizza that is worth the wait! 🍕

Heyyo wassup homies it’s chiobu here! Neko and I recently had the highly raved GoldenRoy sourdough pizza and here’s our review 😚 as usual, we included some tips below!

We recommend:

💗 Clam and garlic pizza ($7.50)

Umami from the clams mixed well with the garlic on the white base!

💗 Garlic butter and blue cheese pizza ($7.50)

Blue cheese wasn’t stanky and the taste of it was elevated by the garlic butter hehe.

💗 Homemade hot sauce ($4)

Helps to add dimension to the taste of the pizza! It tastes a bit like tobasco and habanero combined. Kinda pricey tho…! Think more worth it if you’re eating with more people 🤗

Can skip:

🙅‍♀️ Smoked camembert pizza ($7.50)

Initially good but after a while just tasted quite flat :/

🙅‍♀️ Roast beef and garlic pizza ($8)

Mmm for some reason we couldn’t rly taste the beef…! Flavours didn’t stand out.

🙅‍♀️ Sourdough bombs ($12)

It’s not bad but pales in comparison to the pizzas. At $4 for one sourdough bomb, it’s not worth it at all! Alsooo when we got it it was room temp so it didn’t taste that great. Neko said it tasted better when he heated it up tho!

❗️Go early!! Three reasons:

- No reservations allowed and you’ll have to take a queue number in person.

- There’s also no dining limit so you only get your turn after diners are kind enough to leave, which may take a while.

- Pizzas are handmade at the point of order and there are lots of pizza delivery orders they have to prep for as well, so wait time for your food will prolly be 30-45 mins!

❗️Request for a proper table with chairs/benches if possible! We saw others sitting on the sofa with a really small table that didn’t have space for a toaster… didn’t look that comfy.

❗️Definitely heat up your food with the toasters provided, it’ll taste better 👍
