stop paying for $7 goma lattes!

This easy goma latte recipe only requires 2 ingredients - your milk of choice and black sesame paste/powder!

1. Froth some milk + black sesame paste /powder together to form a thick foam

2. Add milk + ice into your cup

3. Add sesame foam on top of iced milk for a nice separated layer

I'm using homemade black sesame paste here but feel free to sub with black sesame powder / paste from dondondonki or even your friendly neighbour supermarket.

If you want to try making your own black sesame paste: simply toast black sesame seeds in a pan for 2-3 mins and blend it up to release its natural oil. Duration depends on your blender. I was using a small blender that could easily overheat so it took me ~15 mins with multiple breaks 🥴(see pic 2 for reference). You can make a small batch and keep it in the fridge for future use!
