The newborn stage was boring

I don’t know if it was just me? But the newborn stage was SO boring.

I loved every bit of it. The snuggles. The naps. The cooing. But once we hit that 6-8 month milestone….that is when the fun began.

All babies do when they are newborns is sleep, eat every 2-4hrs, and poop.

Yes, they still do that when they are 6 months old but guess what else they do. They make eye contact with you. They smile more. They will laugh. And you start to see that little bit of personality develop.

What I miss most about the newborn stage is the little feet and the inability to move. Life was just so much easier and cleaner!! I would be lying if I said it wasn’t the toddler stage. But now that we are here it’s so awesome to watch this tiny human being discover new things.
