plog: eric chou odyssey returns 2023! 🎫

last weekend (4/11 & 5/11), eric chou came to singapore for his odyssey returns tour! as someone who's never attended his concerts before, i thoroughly enjoyed myself and it was 100% worth the money i spent 🥰💖

the first thing i loved about his concert was the super gorgeous and elaborate stage set-up & lighting effects! i feel that this played a huge part in my enjoyment because the vibes were ✨immaculate✨ and the lasers made it look like we were in a club 🤭

anyone who listens to c-pop knows that eric chou's name in the industry is huge, and he's an amazing singer, especially at slow ballads and love songs. well, not only did he meet my expectations, he also outdid them by a lot! i never thought i'd see eric chou half naked on stage 😳 and his upbeat english songs were a major 💯 yes for me! i loved his voice so much and because i didn't want to spoil myself by listening to his setlist beforehand, i was pleasantly surprised by him singing some of his OSTs that i thought he would skip.

of course, he performed so many crowd favourites, like 《怎么了》,《你，好不好？》,《如果雨之后》,《永不失联的爱》,《以后别做朋友》and 《你不属于我》!

i would give this concert a 5⭐️ rating! i think eric chou really outdid himself this time, and even though i was seated at cat 4, i could feel and hear the effort and feels that he put into preparing & performing. i enjoyed it to the MAX and would definitely go to his concert again if he comes back to singapore! ❤️‍🔥
