I know the urge to text your ex is strong, but your attachment to them is literally like an addiction. studies show that love and physical intimacy evoke the same neural chemicals as addiction, so you need to treat it as such. if you were to quit an addiction, you can slowly ween yourself off of it but inevitably it needs to end.
