Nature Inspired Cake Cafe: Fieldnotes🌿

Happy thursday lemon8 fam! It’s almost TGIF🥳 Are you guys already planning what to do this weekend? Cos i am hehe! If you guys are gonna be around tanjong pagar/maxwell this weekend, fieldnotes is a cafe that’s quite nice for catching up with friends!!

They mainly serve tea infused cakes and the usual selection of drinks (coffee, tea, refreshing options)! The tea notes are not very strong for the cakes, it’s on the subtler side! The cakes are quite light and fluffy and paired with the lighter tea flavours it’s not gelat at all! I’d prefer if the sponge cake itself is a little more moist tho!

I absolutely love the vibes and decor of the place. Lots of natural light streaming in and there’s an outdoor seating area too which is perfect for photo ops! Expect prices of about $7-8 per slice of cake and $6-8 for drinks which is around the same price as most cafes these days especially with inflation🫢
