Sweet Pickle Books

Hi hi! Since summer has begun, I’ve really been getting into reading again… I love a good cafe/workspace, but I love a good book store even more😊 I could literally kill 2 hours just looking around.

I actually found Sweet Pickle Books online, and though I’d swing by to see what all the hype was about😄

My honest thoughts: it feels cute and “homemade”. I really like the novelty of a pickle bookstore, & I think it’s a super creative way to make them stand out <3

Without the pickles, the store is just a hole in the wall shop, but I really don’t mind! It feels quaint and intimate, and the staff were SO kind. If you purchase 4 books, you get to pick a jar of pickles for free— Or you can just swing by to purchase a jar if you aren’t big on books🤠

Either way, this place is totally worth stopping by next time you are in the East Village! I thought it was sooo cute & I don’t even like pickles😂🥒
