Hip internal rotation is something I see a lot of my clients needing to work on. Same goes for external and I'll do a post on that as well. But it's SO so important with your lifts to have a good range of internal rotation to get the most out of your exercises.

I've explained how to do these exercises in the photo captions above but here are a couple extra tips 🥰

Exercise 1:

- If you feel like your hips are getting stuck(more pinch, not stretch), take some time to feel it out. You may need to move your feet out and away from your body a bit to be able to move through this. Everyones hip sockets are a little bit different!

Exercise 2:

- Doing an adductor stretch before this can help you sit more upright vs leaning like I am. 😅 I will also be taking this advice for the next time I do these.

Exercise 3:

- Yes, you can use a box or a squat rack for assistance but make sure you aren't fully relying on it. Try just using your fingertips or a couple fingers to help you stay stable but make sure to use your glutes to complete the movement. Not your hand.

Exercise 4:

- Again, everyone has different hip sockets so finding the right positioning may be a little weird at first. If you feel like your foot is trying to sway back towards your body also, try moving the resistance band down closer to your toes.
