Do guys actually like when girls text first??

anyone can put their two sense but I wanna know a guys perspective

the reason I'm saying this is cuz sometimes guys like my stories and if I think their cute i'll go and like theirs. then they like another one😭 i'm just wondering if they do this cause they want you to text them or they just like the pic. if a guy doesn't text first does that mean their not interested?
