my favorite book of 2024

six months into the year and i’m naming a best book. do i think anything will top it? no, i do not.

Second chances? Star-crossed lovers? Former best friends reunited after 14 years apart? RAINBOW ROWELL?? It’s safe to say I knew I was going to love this book… ‘Fangirl’ is one of my all-time faves and ‘Eleanor & Park’ is right up there with it. But, ladies and gentlemen, SLOW DANCE beats them all.

I am so so so in love with this book. Leave it to Rainbow Rowell to get me so attached to characters in less than 24 hours that I end up tearing up at the end of the book. I want to store this story in my heart forever, and I think I will.
